Non Attendance of Appointments

The practice has to deal with missed appointment every week due to patients not giving us notice that they would not be attending. These “did not attends” (DNAs) are a waste of appointments that could be given to other patients. 

Due to the increasing pressures faced by the practice this is not something that we can allow to continue.  We will be monitoring those patients that do not attend on a regular basis. If you miss 3 appointments in a 12 month period, without a valid reason, you may be removed from the practice list and asked to register elsewhere.
